Try the “Oil Pulling” Method
Ayurveda dental practices have proved themselves to be remarkably beneficial. They include chewing sticks, oil pulling, and some other special techniques that many contemporary cosmetic dentists recognize as thoroughly worthy holistic approaches. Oil pulling is a great way to improve your dental health by killing your intraoral bacteria.
As its name suggests, oil pulling is a method of swishing oil in your mouth. Take a tablespoon of cold-pressed olive or coconut oil, put it into your mouth, and start pulling it. It takes only 5-10 minutes a day, but if you remember to repeat pulling daily, you will notice a few positive changes pretty soon. Oil pulling fights off all the harmful parasites, bacteria, and toxins, which strengthens your gums, teeth, and even jaw. Practicing pulling will make you forget about bad breath, dry throat, or cracked lips, and your teeth will be much whiter than earlier.
If you for some reason don’t like the taste of the oil you pull, you may try other kinds until you find “your” flavor. There is nothing bad in looking for more flavored kinds: virtually any oil is suited for pulling; just make sure it to be cold-pressed.
Introduce Apple Cider Vinegar Gargling
Science has discovered that the use of vinegar for “better health” is not as good as we used to think, and may sometimes even be hurtful. Nonetheless, in certain cases, vinegar is shown to be helpful. Vinegar stays as a perfect cooking ingredient, and it is also found to be great for your oral-care regimen. Using apple cider vinegar each morning for gargling before brushing your teeth can enhance their whiteness. The reason is that vinegar is able to fight stains and kill bad bacteria attacking your mouth.
There is not a big difference, which brand you will use for that, but gargling reliable brands would be a bit more sensible approach. Apple cider vinegar is not as strong as other kinds of vinegar and less irritating. However, apple cider vinegar may seem too sour to some people, but after a few tries and some patience the stinging sensation will gradually go away, and the results will build up.
Reach for Chewy and Crisp Raw Fruits and Vegetables
Most people know that a healthy diet includes fresh fruits and vegetables. This is because raw and crunchy stuff contains more healthy nutrients, and this is exactly what your body needs and what has the greatest impact on your appearance.
The abovementioned health benefits of fruits and veggies include the quality of your teeth and your smile. Crisp and chewy raw foods such as celery and apples work as bacteria killers and toothbrush replacers. Chewing them triggers the saliva production, which, in turn, fights all the stored in your mouth bacteria and brushes it away from your teeth and your gums. And in addition to that, as we mentioned already, your body receives a whole truckload of potent antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.
Crunchy stuff is easy to pack; you can use it anywhere: at work, in transport, and at the picnic. Consume more carrots, apples, and celery, and your smile will always be wide and bright!
